Today is National Boss’s Day, and in honor of the holiday, we would like to recognize the best federal agencies to work for in 2015.
Our ranking is based on the government-wide employee engagement index scores from the 2015 Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS).
More than 400,000 federal workers from 82 different agencies responded to the survey, which allowed them to candidly share their opinions of their work experiences, their agencies and their leaders.
The employee engagement index is made up of three different sub factors which include perceptions of leadership, the interpersonal relationships between workers and supervisors and the employee’s feelings of motivation relating to their role in the workplace.
